Arc Raiders update 1.26 upgrades PS5 Pro PSSR visuals

Embark Studios detailed a PS5 Pro visual upgrade for Arc Raiders, arriving through update 1.26 on April 28.

The update adds support for an upgraded version of PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, Sony's machine-learning upscaling system. For Arc Raiders, Embark says the goal is a sharper and more stable image in dense environments, with better handling of fine detail, movement, and translucent effects such as rain and particles.

That matters for an extraction shooter where readability is part of the game feel. Cleaner reconstruction can make distant movement, environmental edges, and fast-moving drones easier to parse without changing the underlying art direction.

Base PS5 players continue using the existing TSR upscaling path, so this is specifically a PS5 Pro enhancement rather than a universal rendering change.
