Nintendo pairs Switch 2 with Super Mario Galaxy offer through May 9

Nintendo announced a limited-time offer built around the Switch 2 system and Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2.

From April 12 through May 9, players who buy a Nintendo Switch 2 system together with the physical or digital version of Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 can save $20 at participating retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Walmart.

The timing follows the theatrical rollout of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie and gives Nintendo a simple hardware-plus-software push around two of Mario's most beloved 3D adventures.

Nintendo also notes that a free Switch 2 update for Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 adds 4K support, interface improvements, extra Storybook chapters, Assist Mode, and Joy-Con 2 mouse controls for a second player.
